feverish worky times at Kota Kinabalu

My body said: Stop! I’m down with fever, infection, flu, whatever pfffff. I hate it. Taking 6 different medicins, from which probably 5 are crappy. Having no energy and being in this wonderful area…It stinks. Ah well, off to my selfmade office at Starbucks then and time for the siteworks.

Nature, our one and only masterdesigner.

Borneo…Borneo…oh Borneo…you make me cry, make me feel so impressed, humble and quiet…And yet we know each other only for a small week. I can only try to honor and capture your blinding beauty as good as I can.

Bako national park: From Kuching a 45min bumpy noisy ride on the bus, followed by a wobbly 30min in a tiny boat over the coastlines of the south china sea. And the sea here is euhmm…good for feetbathing, not for swimming… very shallow and the current would drag you to heaven.

went for swim in this one. The foam is from the plants. The water is red.

the jumping fish. They are the crossfade from fish to amphibia. Remember ‘Genesis’, the second documentary from Marie Pérennou?

kampung village at Kuching. Later I was told it was dangerous there. Oops.

I’m now in Kota Kinabalu, where I’ll climb the highest mountain in SE Asia to see sunrise from the top. It’s 4,5 km heigh, hehe.

Till soon and enjoy that christmas!

Borneo, first impression: a-m-a-z-i-n-g

Just a short one to let everyone know I’m ok. However, maybe not, I’m stoned of the beauty and weirdness here. Later more pictures, just few ones to give already a little taste. Gotta get my plane to Sabah now.
